Description
This genuine ancient coin has been set in a modern 18 karat gold ring.

On the obverse of this beautiful coin is the head of Poseidon, god of the oceans, patron of horses and bringer of earthquakes. On the reverse is the god's attribute, a trident head with two dolphins. The power and glory of ancient Syracuse derived from the sea, for the city was a famous trading center, located in the center of the Mediterranean. It is no wonder they paid tribute to this god on their coinage. The person who wears this ring today should also find good fortune in all ventures where Poseidon holds sway. - (FJ.2828)
